Eye of the Reverie came about from a tutorial video I created for a smaller painting for which I tried to use a color combo that I wouldn't ordinarily choose. I loved the result so much that I knew I had to create a larger version. At the same time that I was working on the tutorial video, I was trying to come up with a business name for my design services company. I stumbled upon the word "reverie" meaning a state of being lost in your own thoughts; a daydream. I loved the word and the meaning. I decided to use it in the business name, and Stylized Reverie was born. After I completed this painting, I felt that it reminded me of an eye of a storm with soft pops of color in a harmless daydream of awe and wonder with a heavenly view of our powerful and captivating atmosphere.
