Triple Rush is a triptych that includes: Sapphire Rush, Amethyst Rush, and Emerald Rush. These paintings are part of my Monochrome Metallic Fusion series. I started these paintings and over a year went by before I completed them due to a correction that needed to be made in the process that I hadn’t quite figured out yet. I eventually came back to finish them, and I am thrilled with the final result. They are representations of the rush of excitement and euphoria created by the solid metallic negative space in contrast with the mind-bending visuals of the black and white faux 3D effect.
